Kauai Marathon is partnering with National Tropical Botanical Garden to present the inaugural Roots ‘n Shoots Fun Run and Walk this weekend. On Saturday (April 4), NTBG will host the 5K fundraiser at Allerton and McBryde gardens. Participants in this one-ofa-kind event will check in at NTBG Southshore Visitors Center parking lot beginning at 6 a.m., and will be shuttled to the starting point at the beginning of the nonprofit’s Biodiversity Trail.
