SPEAKING OF RENEWALS … In preparation for The Plaza’s reopening, it is hiring 800 more employees including the 300 it laid off in November when the hotel closed. It got more than 8,000 applications a response that was so huge it crashed the online application site and they even had to turn people away from the first day of the job fair. The $35 million makeover will be open for business in two phases: the casino in August and the hotel in September.

BAYWATCH BOMBSHELL Pamela Anderson is being counter-sued by ex-BF Laurence Hallier. He says she failed to uphold her end of a deal and promote his Las Vegas development “The Panorama Towers.” She filed suit in February, saying he didn’t give her a condo or pay her $1 million as promised for services rendered. Many of the multimillion-dollar condos went into bank receivership when the economy tanked, and one recently sold for $121,000.

EX NBA-ER Antoine Walker has pleaded guilty to the criminal complaint that he didn’t pay his markers at Caesars and Red Rock. At the end of the day, his tab is $750,000.
