Shalea and Mario CatbaganTexeira were shopping for Halloween costumes for their children Anela (2) and Aiden (1) last week at Kmart, when the Kalaheo residents were approached by a MidWeek Kaua’i‘ representative. They answered one simple question correctly and instantly won a $100 gift certificate.

“We shop here a lot,” says Shalea, a stay-at-home mom and a 2006 graduate of Kaua’i High School. “We’re VIP rewards members.”

Keeping an eye out for weekly sales are what Mario, a customer service representative for Verizon Wireless and 1998 graduate of Kapaa High School, enjoys most about MidWeek Kaua’i.
