BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE
Kaua’i Big Brothers Big Sisters celebrated its second year of bowling fun with the community last month at Lihu’e Bowling Center. More than 300 bigs, littles and their supporters filled the lanes donned in ’50s attire to keep with the theme Greased Lightnin’.
Last year the event raised more than $10,000 in support of mentoring relationships for at-risk children. This year, on-hand donor sponsors included Mark’s Place and Contemporary Flavors, First Hawaiian Bank, Bank of Hawaii and King Auto Center.
