Hospice Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Kaua’i Hospice hosted its Volunteer Appreciation Aloha Luncheon April 7 at Kaua’i Beach Resort in Nukoli’i. Defining hospice as being about “living every day to the fullest and the sweetest,” executive director Lori Miller gave a heartfelt mahalo to attendees. Mayor Bernard P. Carvalho Jr. sang an impromptu You Raise Me Up a cappella in honor of the volunteers. The mission of Kaua’i Hospice is to ensure the highest quality of life possible for individuals and their families facing a life-threatening illness. To learn more, go to kauaihospice.org.
