Lihu’e Community Plan Get-Together
Despite heavy rain, residents thronged to the county’s Lihu’e Community Plan Update get-together April 13 at Lihu’e Civic Center. In addition to a keiki activity center with novelty-size chess pieces, face painting and popcorn, the gathering also included talk story sessions focused on community character, housing and transportation. Live music, a mini-farmers market and food trucks also added to the fun. To learn more, go to kauai.gov.
